Persona Web Access Privacy Policy

Persona Web Access is a Chrome Extension Lite bridge for current-tab browser workflows.

Data The Extension Handles

After user action or confirmation, the extension may handle:

• Current active tab title, URL, and origin.
• Selected text and visible readable page text.
• Current page links and image URLs.
• A visible-area screenshot of the current active tab.
• Sanitized observer diagnostics for the selected authorized tab while observer mode is explicitly running, such as request lifecycle, console, and timing metadata.
• Clipboard text only when a trusted Persona workflow explicitly requests a clipboard read or write action after user action or confirmation.
• Local action receipts with action id, timestamp, origin, tab metadata, and redacted arguments.

The Lite version does not collect cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage, password fields, hidden form values, request headers, response bodies, browsing history, bookmarks, downloads, or file-system content.

Use And Sharing

Handled data is used only to provide the single purpose of Persona browser access workflows. The extension responds only to allowlisted Persona origins and localhost development origins declared in the extension manifest.

Page text, links, image URLs, and screenshots are returned only to the requesting allowlisted origin after user action or confirmation. Action receipts are stored locally in chrome.storage.local. The extension does not sell user data and does not use user data for advertising, credit, or unrelated profiling.

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Security

The extension rejects non-allowlisted external origins, does not execute remote hosted code, and does not evaluate JavaScript supplied by webpages, models, or users. Pro / native helper features are not enabled in the Lite version.
